Michael Sexton

Biography

After initially reporting to the GPO on Easter Monday, 1916, Michael Sexton was sent to reinforce City Hall, which was being held by the Irish Volunteers and the Irish Citizen Army. The post was surrendered on Monday night and Sexton was later deported to Wandsworth prison before being interned in Frongoch prison camp.
