Member of E Company 3rd Dublin Brigade of the Irish Volunteers. Patrick Brennan was stationed at Boland’s Mills during Easter week 1916. He was imprisoned in Wakefield and Frongoch. After his release and return to Ireland he resigned his position in the Irish Volunteers.
