Page eight of eight loose pages from an autograph book, apparently from Frongoch in 1916. The message on the front of the page is signed by ‘Pád. O’Broin’ (Patrick Byrne), A Company 4th Battalion from Terenure.
This item is from the collection of Agnes Smith. Agnes Smith’s sister, May Smith, was a member of Cumann na mBan and was in Boland’s Mills during the Easter Rising. When Agnes died in 1978 the collection passed to Julia Cunningham (Agnes’s first cousin) and then to James Cunningham who died in 1978. The collection then passed to the donor, Catherine Cunningham.
